Access rights are programmed directly via invited admins, and indirectly via external sources such as booking systems and third-party access control systems. These terms are entered into between 5dkey (we, us, or our) and you.
Important points
- We may amend these Terms, Platform features, or your Subscription by written notice.
- Unless suspended or terminated, your Subscription rolls over on an ongoing basis.
- Personal information is handled under our privacy policy.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, fees are non-refundable.
- You are responsible for your actions and, if you are an admin, those of authorised users.
- Our liability is limited to supplying the Platform or, at our discretion, repaying fees paid during the subscription term. We are not liable for consequential loss, third-party service failure, or data loss or corruption.
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Licence and acceptable use
You accept these Terms by registering to set up a company or site, administer credentials, or download a vCard or eKey. Subject to compliance, we grant you and your authorised users a personal, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable, worldwide, non-transferable licence to use the Platform. You must not use the Platform unlawfully, including privacy breaches, harassment, malware, data mining, or assisting others to do so. Downloaded credentials continue to work when the device or platform is offline.
Accounts
Accounts are personal and must not be shared, except with authorised users. Use the account on your personal mobile device. You may sign into a third party’s phone for emergency residential access only if you are physically present. 5dkey plans include a set number of device transfers per year for upgrades; additional transfers may be blocked.
